Our story begins with our sister company, Guardian Roofs Midlands. Firmly focused on the highest-quality refurbishment of conservatories and new build extensions across Shropshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands, we wanted to utilise our range of skills that extended far beyond solid tiled roof replacements. Coupled with the fact that there was something decidedly lacking in the western-central area for high-grade yet reasonably priced windows, doors & single storey extensions, Designhaüs was born.
Important Certification
Some companies will lead you to believe that Local Authority Building Control Certification for your new roof is “not required” or that it’s a “Grey Area”. Here at Guardian Roofs Midlands we are convinced that LABC approval is required and we take care of the certification of your roof as part of our project quotation. We would encourage you to call your Local Council, ask for the Building Control Department and ask them directly whether certification is required if you are in any doubt about this matter.
Our Guarantee
We offer a full 10-year guarantee on ALL products and workmanship. It’s as simple as that. No arguing, no excuses, in the unlikely event that a fault develops with your installation then we will return promptly and professionally without quibble and rectify the fault.
Your Insurance Backed Guarantee & Deposit Protection
Let’s be honest, the PVC Conservatory Industry has not got the best reputation with companies seemingly here one day and gone the next. WE ARE NOT THAT TYPE OF COMPANY – However, for your complete peace of mind and again, as you would expect from a professional company, we are partnered with the industry leading IWA, which in the very unlikely event of us going out of business guarantees to take over the remaining warranty period. ALSO, for complete peace of mind any deposit that you give us up to 25% of the project value is fully guaranteed as well. Complete protection – why accept anything less?
Your Home Protected
Again, you would expect a professional company to hold third party liability insurance to cover your home in the unlikely event of our company causing minor or major damage to your property. Of course, we have this insurance provided through AVIVA.
INSURANCE POLICY NUMBER 96SEPT1026444 covering up to £5 million of damage.
The Safety Of Your Electrical Installations
It is important that you get work done by competent people working for businesses who are committed to quality, safety and customer care. The Electricians we use are NAPIT certificated scheme members who can complete work safely and to legally required standards and able to provide you with the necessary certificates to demonstrate the regulatory compliance of the work they do. These certificates may be requested by tenants, insurance providers and solicitors and may be needed if you are looking to let or come to sell your property.
Project Management
Is often overlooked by small companies but not by this one. We feel that it is vitally important to keep our customers in the loop regarding what is going to happen and when. It is our experience that customers like to be kept informed even if its just a call to say, “we don’t know yet, were working on it”. Our customers often compliment us on the way we communicate and manage our projects.
